• Explain how a person could be portrayed in public in the age of media convergence.

In the case of news and other media and their perceptions of the public relations field, they also overlook the fact that public relations can involve many different functions other than gaining publicity or engaging in media relations.  In this age of media convergence where anyone could post anything at social media people would be portrayed by impressions for instance if there is a commotion by stander takes a video and posts it in social media a particular person involved in the commotion would be judged by his/her actions in said video and not by their true self. Everyone has a different in portraying their self in media ,but not everything portrayed in media is true sometimes their just fooling you.
